NINE MY ROOM TELETHON

Nine & My Room are out to beat childhood cancer in a huge Telethon which will broadcast on Nine and 9Now in Victoria on Thursday August 29.

The new Nine branded format hosted by Eddie McGuire will see Australia’s biggest names and favourite Nine faces pulling out all the stops to help My Room reach its Telethon goal of $1,000,000.

More than 100 stars will come together to man the phones in the Celebrity Phone Room, taking people’s donations with 100% of the proceeds being donated to My Room.

My Row - Rowing for kids with childhood cancer

My Row is a corporate and community initiative inconjunction with Rowing Victoria, North Melbourne Boxing & Fitness and My Room Children’s Cancer Charity to raise funds for ongoing critical research to help find 100% cure for childhood cancer.

THE CHALLENGE

Your challenge is to share with four team members, a single ergo over a marathon distance of 42.193 kms! This will be an exciting relay, tag-team approach, with quick changes between five team members.


TEAMS

Set up your “ My Row” team of 5 for your work place or in honor of a loved one and get set for

a fun team rowing challenge all for a great cause. The first team to complete the distance will be

our winners.

PRIZES

Prizes will be awarded to:

1. The Fastest Team

2. Highest Fundraising Team

3. Highest Fundraising Individual


THE CAUSE

All funds raised will be donated to the Nine My Room Telethon and announced on Air on Thursday August 29 from 7.30pm. (donations over $5000)

Sunday 26th July is the date for this years 2015 Run Melbourne event. Offering a 5k, 10k & Half Marathon, there are distances to suit those that aren't experienced runners, and distances for those that want to get their run on, or for those who just want to get involved.
